TONI&GUY CULTURE SHOCK 3.0 LEGACY

What’s a global fashion brand without an annual collection launch?

On the 18th of November 2018, the national Australian network of TONI&GUY hair salons came together at the Westin in Sydney for a night of fashion and creativity to launch TONI&GUY’s global collection of signature hair looks for the coming year.

This is an annual all-staff event at TONI&GUY, but this was no ordinary year. The collection, aptly titled Legacy, was a special tribute to honour the recently deceased Toni Mascolo – one of the founding fathers of TONI&GUY.

In launching this collection from London, Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck (Global Creative Director) has titled the collection Legacy to pay a special homage to her father, and to keep his spirit, values and principles alive within the company today:

“Creating the new TONI&GUY Legacy Collection with the art team has been one which is close to my heart as it celebrates 55 years of hair, fashion, heritage and education, as defined by my father. This campaign looks at our past, present and future through three distinct styles: vintage, contemporary and creative, areas where TONI&GUY are unrivalled.” -Sacha Mascolo-Tarbuck, Global Creative Director, Toni and Guy

The Australian roll out – led by National Creative Director Katy Reeve and National Technical Director Jack Morton – brought the collection to life: showcasing beautiful modern & wearable cuts and colours, but also constantly pushing the boundaries of hair-dressing through highly technical, dreamlike avant-garde styling.
